Google Docs gets support for 12 more file formats

Google Docs now supports 12 more file formats. You can open and view these new file formats directly in the browser. This doesn't mean that you can edit all of them. But anyway, you don't need to download email attachments in these new file formats. You can simply view them in your browser.
Here's the full list of new compatible file formats in Google Docs Viewer:
  • Microsoft Excel (.XLS and .XLSX)
  • Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 / 2010 (.PPTX)
  • Apple Pages (.PAGES)
  • Adobe Illustrator (.AI)
  • Adobe Photoshop (.PSD)
  • Autodesk AutoCad (.DXF)
  • Scalable Vector Graphics (.SVG)
  • PostScript (.EPS, .PS)
  • TrueType (.TTF)
  • XML Paper Specification (.XPS)
