The elusive white iPhone was delayed for over ten months due to some light-leaking and other problems. Just as everyone is expecting the next generation of the iPhone, Apple has announced that the white version of the iPhone 4 is coming out.
As Apple's senior vice president of worldwide product marketing had once tweeted, the white iPhone is actually coming out. But will anyone actually buy it?

Analysts say, according to the Wall Street Journal that the white version of the iPhone "will likely spur additional demand, which may help the company power through the summer quarter". I doubt that. People are expecting the iPhone 5, which should release sometime soon.

However there was some speculation recently about the next iPhone not coming out until late this year. Some people even said that there is no new iPhone in 2011. It will be interesting to see how many people actually buy this white unicorn amongst all these rumors.
