iPhone 5 reportedly set for September launch; Working prototype on eBay

No, that's an iPhone 4 with an artificial metal back
According to DigiTimes, Apple has ordered Taiwan-based Pegatron Technologies for 15 million next-gen iPhones set for a September 2011 launch.
DigiTimes' sources also said that (as predicted), the next iPhone might not be a huge departure from the current generation ones. It may simply be an iPhone 4S. The claim only seems to be strengthened by an alleged iPhone 4S prototype that popped up on eBay recently.

The eBay iPhone appears to be a working prototype that shouldn't have left Apple. But, the problem is that it looks exactly like the iPhone 4, except for the fact that the plus/minus buttons on the volume rockers are not there. The device itself doesn't appear to work. It simply shows the 'Connect to iTunes' screen, and nothing happens when it is connected.

As of the time of this writing, the iPhone seems to have disappeared from eBay. But reports claim that the price went up to $1500 during the auction period.
