Align equal signs in Microsoft Word

Microsoft Word 2010 has got a pretty decent equation editor even though using it can
be an annoyance in some cases. There doesn't seem to be a good way to line up your
equations with the equal to signs in a vertical line in textbooks. Here's how to do it.

To line up your equations:
  • Select all the equations you want to include.
  • Right-click them and click 'Align at ='.
However, the problem with this method is that the equations cannot be centered and
look awkward near the left margin. You can fix this too.

Simply select the equations and and justify-align them. This will leave your entire document unaffected, while the equations look textbooky.
