It's available to everyone now.
The new website design has three major changes, according to the Google subsidiary:
- New look overall: You know, the regular blah blah. And I agree. The new layout looks so much more cleaner, futuristic and sleek. Compare it to one of the original site design and you'll know what I mean.
- New homepage: If you have a Google/YouTube account, you'll get a totally customizable feed-like homepage. New stuff appears as stories, like on Facebook. Google+ integration is everywhere, but Google is also smart enough to not leave Facebook users behind in the integration capabilities.
- New Channel design: The standard Channel page has changed a lot. The YouTube guys took suggestions from people who used the Cosmic Panda experimental design and implemented everything. The new Channels are completely customizable too.
