Google's 12th birthday

Happy birthday, Google! Yes, readers, it is Google's 12th anniversary today. And it celebrates the occasion with a special logo (as it always does). It's a cake with the web search company's name on it.

Google was founded in 1998 by Larry Page and Sergey Brin and since then, it has grown at a staggering rate. Today, it employs over 21,800 people world-over. It earned about $23.6 billion in revenue last year.

Arguably, everyone connected to the Internet is familiar with Google. Being the most widely used search engine online, it is also the website with the most amount of traffic on the Internet. Google is an example of a real Internet giant.

I wish it grows like this, and continues on its way to "organize everything we know".
