How to find your DD-WRT version

Love the advanced QoS settings on your DD-WRT router? Me too. Now that it's a long time since you flashed the Linux-based firmware onto your router, you may want to check the version number so that you can know if you need to upgrade. Here's how to do it.

  • Log into the web-based interface of your DD-WRT router.
  • Go to the Status main tab.
  • Here, under the first tab, which is Router, look at the line Firmware Version under the System section.
That's your build number. Go to the DD-WRT site and check the latest build versions on the right.
