9to5Mac says that they've got someone at Foxconn who told them that the iPhone 5 might be getting a new, metallic back. Right or not, we do not know yet. But it does make sense. The iPhone 4 got an easily scratched and shattered back for lots of people.
A few reports say that apart from using metal for the backing, Apple might make the back curved again. If you ask me, I feel that the iPhone 4 looks awesome with its new design.
The reports are strengthening the old rumors about a bigger screen. It looks like Digitimes has confirmed about a 4-inch display.
What is in store for us, we'll see when the final version releases. But I'm actually looking forward to a metal back on the iPhone 5. When I saw the photo of the iPhone 4 with a metal back sticker at Boy Genius Report, I melted down. It was so beautiful.
