PlayStation Network is coming back

After the big intrusion on the PlayStation Network, Sony had closed it down. After several weeks, it is coming back up.

The attack compromised about 24.6 million user accounts. Even credit card data might have been stolen. This will surely reduce the number of players on the network now. They will surely need to get the user trust back somehow.

“We have greatly updated our data security systems,” Sony's Executive Deputy President Kazuo Hirai noted in a video statement. “These changes were the result of an intensive investigation aided by some of the most respected forensic and security experts in the computer industry.”
