Google now understands better if you're looking for pictures

Google has already been showing thumbs of image results for certain terms in the normal search results. This was probably for the terms usually searched for on Google Images. But now, some quick updates to the leading search engine have made it smarter on this front.

Simply put, Google now understands if your query tells that you are looking for photos (I wonder why they didn't do this earlier).

If your term is something along the lines of 'forest wallpapers', 'lion photos' or 'sydney images', there will be a large section in the search results showing large thumbnails of relevant images.
