Apple OS X 10.7 Lion released on App Store

The Mac App Store went down yesterday and soon after, the next major upgrade to the Mac operating system appeared as the featured app. Yes, the long awaited OS X Lion is here.
Lion will be the first version of the Mac OS that will not be released on discs. OS X Lion will exclusively be sold through the Mac App Store that opened in January of 2011.

Lion boasts the addition of over 250 new features such as Mission Control, Launchpad, AirDrop and more. Along with them surely come several fixes and changes in the nitty-gritties.

Early reviews of this new version of the Mac OS are generally positive and recommend the upgrade. The upgrade costs $29.99 on the App Store and it's a 3.49 GB download.

Will you, or have you upgraded? How did you like it? Let me know in the comments!
